Southwest Family Advocacy Center
Southwest FAC is a multidisciplinary facility developed and funded by the police departments of three municipalities: Avondale, Buckeye and Goodyear.
The purpose of the Southwest Family Advocacy Center is to provide quality investigations of abuse in the most sensitive, appropriate manner to crime victims.

Services
The population served by the Center involves child and adult victims and witnesses in cases of domestic violence, sexual assault, child physical and sexual abuse, neglect, elderly abuse, homicide and drug endangerment.
Our investigative team helps victims and their families through the present trauma of being a crime victim and then specially trained counselors work with these families to help strengthen coping skills and improve communication; thus, providing future preventative measures. Through strong, collaborative efforts, we deal with the violence that is happening within our communities and simultaneously work to educate our community members about what we do and how to make our communities safer.
